Privacy Notice

This Notice describes what data Poleana collects, what we use it for, and who we share it with. By using the app you accept the practices described here. We do not sell your personal data.
What data we collect
We collect only what's needed to run the game:
- Account data: email and username when you create an account (Firebase authentication).
- Game data: matches, stats, progress, virtual currency and cosmetics.
- Technical data: device identifier, device type, IP address and app version.
- Diagnostics: error and crash reports (Crashlytics) and aggregated usage metrics (Analytics).
- Guest mode: no email required; progress is stored only on your device.
- Notifications: if you allow them, we store your device's identifier so we can tell you when it's your turn or someone asks for a rematch.
How we use your data
We use data for the following purposes:
- Run the game, save your progress, and enable online play and matchmaking.
- Keep the game secure, prevent cheating and moderate names and reactions.
- Improve the app through error diagnostics and aggregated statistics.
- Send you news and offers only if you consented (you can opt out anytime).
Who we share data with
We share data only with providers that operate the app, not with third parties for their own marketing:
- Google Firebase: authentication, database, storage, crash reporting and analytics.
- Google AdMob: advertising (ads use non-personalized settings by default).
- Apple and Google: delivering turn notifications to your device.
- We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
How long we keep your data
We keep your data while your account is active. If you request account deletion, we erase your personal data except where the law requires us to retain it. Guest-mode progress lives only on your device and is lost when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Your rights
Depending on your country, you have the right to (ARCO rights in Mexico; GDPR/CCPA where applicable):
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or outdated data.
- Cancel or delete your account and your data, by writing to our contact address.
- Object to certain uses, such as marketing.
Minors
Poleana is intended for people 13 years or older and we apply an age check. We do not intentionally collect data from children under that age. If you believe a minor gave us data without consent, contact us to remove it.
Data security
We apply technical measures to protect your information:
- All communications use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS and WSS).
- The server validates every move and generates the dice; the client never decides the real balance.
- No measure is foolproof, but we work to reduce risks.
